Park Trace is a small, deed restricted community of 131 single family homes nestled among lakes, ponds and preserves bordering Oscar Scherer Park and Rivendell.  All homes are on county water and sewer.  The community, just south of Palmer Ranch, was built in the early part of 2000, with several different builders participating in the development.  Most recently, the Legacy Trail, a Sarasota County recreational trail, spanning about 12 miles from Sarasota south to Venice, opened for bikers, walkers, and joggers.   One of the Trail's entrances borders Park Trace. 

Park Trace is centrally located and is accessible to both US 41 and I-75.  Within minutes, you can be at Gulf beaches, tantalizing restaurants, shopping, boating, golfing and a host of other activities.
